Taraz Technologies announces the addition of SPM Series to Power Electronics Development Modules product line. The diverse SPM power modules series comes in 4 common circuit configurations such as Half Bridge, Full Bridge, 3 Phase and MMC Cell with optional MOSFET, IGBT or Silicon Carbide (SiC FET) semiconductor switches.

The SPM power modules compliment gate drivers to provide power blocks for rapid power electronics prototyping. With the complete solution, researchers can outdo the time consuming practice of hardware development and focus profoundly on their primary research objectives.

SPM Power Modules are simple and modular power blocks that are directly pluggable with gate driver modules and can be used for fast prototyping of standard power converter circuits such as, Single & Multi-Phase Inverters, Buck/Boost Converters, Single & Multi-Phase Active Rectifiers and Modular Multi-Level Converters. It can cover wide range of applications such as Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), BLDC Motor Drives, PV inverters and converters in research and educational environments.

User can connect Input and output terminals using pluggable terminal blocks or banana connectors, providing ease of use in labs. Test points are also available for pain free testing. Custom power blocks could be provided upon request as well.

Power block kits are a combination of SPM power modules with their optimized gate drivers. Available in 4 common configuration such as Half Bridge, Full Bridge, 3 Phase and MMC Cells, they can be operated out of box directly with 3.3/5V compatible IDC input interface connector. For safety and sturdiness, kits are enclosed in two sided top and bottom acrylic sheets. Terminal blocks and banana connectors can be used for power input and output, which are best suited for lab environments. Users can access the testing points for measurement while dual LEDs provide visual feedback of switch status.
