Development Background
Due to mammoth cost of available current probes, most educational institutions especially in developing countries are unable to provide them to their students and researchers. Traditional probes also require powerful and expensive oscilloscopes to perform instant complex analysis and give results conveniently.
intelliSENS Smart Probes are designed to solve above issues and provide cost effective solution that can perform powerful analysis without the need of oscilloscope at a fraction of cost of similar performing non-smart probes. Furthermore, PC connectivity opens the door for new possibilities such as advanced analysis, recording and viewing the results at later stage and perform analysis on them. Another amazing feature enabled is the possibility of synchronizing multiple probes to measure many more channels than oscilloscopes can offer.
The intelliSENS i2 Smart Current Probe comes in dual channel measurement of ±100A AC/DC current with up to 200 KHz frequency bandwidth, which makes it ideal for most applications including 3 phase motor drives. The probe can be used by students without requiring oscilloscope or other equipment.
intelliSENS Smart Probes are backed by powerful analysis, recording and viewing software with very easy graphical user interface (GUI). This will change the way how researchers and students work completely. Besides getting advanced analysis such as THD, FFT, etc. instantly, researchers and student can record their experiments, analyze them later, and even share them with their colleagues and supervisors, who can also analyze them.
