Low Cost analogSENS i2 Dual Channel Current Probe Released

Taraz Technologies announces the release of analogSENS i2 Dual AC/DC ±100A 200 KHz current probe which is a low cost, high bandwidth and high accuracy alternative to available current probes in the market. The probe can be interfaced to all oscilloscope brands.

Development Background

Due to mammoth cost of available current probes, most educational institutions especially in developing countries are unable to provide them to their students and researchers.

analogSENS probes are designed to create a very low cost current measurement option for universities with low budgets. These probes can be interfaced to all types and brands of oscilloscopes. The probe design does not compromise on quality and beats much higher cost alternates in terms of accuracy and bandwidth. The specifications of the probe truly defines a new value for cost benchmark for available current probes in the market.

For ease of access a handy accessory, TBAN, is provided with analogSENS to overcome its inability to clamp. TBAN has been designed keeping safety standards into consideration. Using TBAN, Standard banana plugs can seamlessly be used with analogSENS. Moreover, for low current measurement, intrinsic sensitivity can be increased from 0.1V/A to its ‘n’ times by giving ‘n’ number of turns.
